By the way, Cherri is so right. The 2nd year is the hardest, I think. It's when reality sets in. I am here for you ANYTIME my friend. It will be six years in December since I lost Dustin.

Dear Teresa,

I am so very sorry for the loss of your son, and hope you have a strong support system to help you get through this second year-which many bereaved parents say is the worst because the numbness wears off. I remember that second year all too well, even though I am at year 5. I am here for you Teresa, so are a large and wonderfully supportive group of parents through my organization-My Child Loss Grief (http://www.mychildlossgrief.org) Just reach out and we will walk this journey with you. Please know you will survive this devastating loss.
